Easy Summer Hairstyles

We know how it is- in the heat of summer it is so tempting to just toss your hair up into an easy messy bun and go. While that is absolutely one of our own go-to hairstyles as well, why not have a few other easy summer styles up your sleeve to avoid falling into a messy bun rut? We’ve rounded up a list of some cute summer hairstyles that you can easily create at home to keep you cool and stylish this season!
Double Boho braids. Double the braids, and double the fun! Part your hair into two sections and create two Dutch braids on either side. Combine both ends into a messy bun at the nape of your neck for a look that’s pretty but not too serious. The messier the part, the more interest you create as well!
Pinned up half pony. Get creative with those bobby pins - or other pretty barrettes lying around the bathroom - and secure twisted up strands into an interesting half-up design. For an extra summery look, consider using glittery metallics or pops of neon. For a little extra pretty, opt for fishtail braids instead of twists!
Super textured low tail. Ponytails kinda come with summer, but they don’t have to be basic! Add some lift and texture with a volumizing spray, and pull it into a loose, low pony at the nape of your neck.
Braid in a braid. There are many more ways than one to achieve this look, but for starters, choose a small section of hair up near your crown, begin braiding, then create a bigger braid while weaving the smaller one in. This style is quick and easy and you’ll be looking beach-ready or boho chic in no time!
