Let’s Talk Cosmetic Injections!

We don’t have to tell you that the beauty industry has a long history of innovating the “latest and greatest” when it comes to maintaining our youth and keeping our skin looking fresh and healthy. It’s definitely no secret that one of our favorite weapons in the battle against aging and fine lines is a little thing called botox, but did you know there’s more options at your disposal? Here at Skin Essentials Luxury Med Spa and Salon, we offer a full menu of cosmetic injections to help prevent and reverse the signs of aging. Today we’ll talk about the different options and the benefits of each.

Botox/Dysport.  Both these injectables are used to relax facial muscles that cause frown lines between the brows, forehead wrinkles, and crow’s feet. These treatments will show results within 2-7 days and will last around 3-4 months.

Kybella®. This injectable is a prescription medicine for adults that is used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe fat below the chin, aka “double chin”. The results of Kybella® are permanent and the treatment is usually done in a series of 3. This treatment can also be used in conjunction with CoolSculpting for optimal results.

Restylane Silk/Restylane/Restylane Lyft. The Restylane family of products are for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Restylane Silk is specifically designed to smooth the wrinkles around the mouth and augment the lips. Restylane Lyft will correct volume deficits in the backs of hands, augment the cheeks, and fill age-related midface contour deficiencies. Restylane can add volume and fullness to the skin to correct severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the laugh and smile lines from your nose to your mouth. The results can last anywhere between 6-8 months. 

Juvederm. This is a cosmetic dermal filler that will help you sculpt your face and decrease sagging skin. It can also be used to plump lips and smooth out the area where your lips meet the rest of your skin. These results will last from 6-9 months.

Vobella. Vobella is a cosmetic dermal filler that is used around the eyes. This filler will help decrease lines around the eyes and help correct sunken eyes as well. These results will last from 6-8 months.

Voluma. Also a cosmetic dermal filler, Voluma will help give volume and lift to your face. These results will last from 9-12 months.

Sculptra. This injectable actually bonds with your body’s own collagen to help restore your skin’s inner structure and increase facial volume. The treatment is usually done in a series of 3 and the results can last up to three years!
