Microblading is a manual “hand” method of semi-permanent cosmetics for your brows that create extremely fine, natural looking hair strokes. This requires a manual tool with tiny needles that deposit dye into the dermal layer of the skin. Your artist will choose the needles and blade type according to the technique used and your individual skin type. The results are amazingly natural-looking arches with precise strokes that actually look like individual hairs! The best part is, your new fabulous brows can last anywhere from 9-18 months!
Are you worried about the word “blade” in this scenario? Have no fear! While this treatment does include tiny needles, we do our very best to make you as comfortable as possible both before and during the procedure. Some clients do experience mild discomfort, but for the most part it is relatively painless.
The process can take up to two hours because it’s extremely important to get it right. It is, after all, a very prominent feature of your face! After your appointment there is no downtime, you just need to be sure to follow your esthetician’s advice about home care during the healing process.
