Exfoliating Treatments For the Health of Your Skin

While our skin naturally sheds the outer layer of cells on its own, a good exfoliating treatment does wonders to improve the look and feel of our skin. Here at Skin Essentials Luxury Med Spa and Salon, we offer a full menu of exfoliating treatments to help address any of your skin care needs. We will talk about a few of our options here to help you decide which treatment might be best for you!
Hydra-Derm. Considered the latest treatment in skincare technology, hydraderm utilizes the healing powers of oxygen and water to leave the skin feeling exfoliated and refreshed without the use of hard crystals. The benefits of this treatment include improvement to fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation, and blackheads while also giving the skin some serious hydration. 

Dermaplaning. This exfoliating treatment is achieved by using a small, sterile blade to gently scrape the face. This sloughs off the outer layer of dead skin cells while also removing that annoying peach fuzz that can cake up your makeup. Additionally, this treatment will also allow greater penetration of your skincare products for increased effectiveness.
 
Green Peel. Originated by Dr. Schrammek, the green peel® helps people with various skin issues to achieve balance. Based on a mixture of eight herbs containing enzymes, minerals, and vitamins, it can help with acne, pigmentation, and enlarged pores using neither chemicals nor abrasives.
 
Glycolic Peel.  This treatment utilizes glycolic acid-an alpha-hydroxy acid- to penetrate deep into the layers of the skin where it will dissolve excess sebum and dead skin cells. This process will renew younger, healthier looking skin while also stimulating collagen production and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.
